The multidisciplinary Pediatric Rare Disease Center comprises interdisciplinary teams with expertise in neurology, genetics, cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology and more from across Vanderbilt University Medical Center. 

Mission statement

Our mission is to support all aspects of health care for newborns, children, adolescents and adults with rare diseases. Through this collaborative approach with specialized healthcare providers, our center works to improve care and expand treatment options. We combine our experience, discoveries and expertise to deliver timely and appropriate care to as many patients and families as possible.
